Craft Guild of Chefs Scholarships
The Craft Guild of Chefs was established in 1965. It celebrated its ruby anniversary in 2005.
Since its inception, the Guild has moved from a division of The Cookery and Food Association to its present position as an influential voice in the foodservice and hospitality industry.
The role of the Guild is: to represent the interests of chefs; and, to promote understanding, appreciation, and the advancement of the art of cookery and the science of food. It aims to do this by increasing standards through greater awareness, education, and training.
The Guild’s membership spans all areas of the foodservice and hospitality industry; its members include chefs working in restaurants, pubs and hotels, as well as contract catering, and the cost sector.
The Worshipful Company of Cooks contributes an annual grant that goes towards the Craft Guild of Chefs scholarship scheme.
